My first orientation at BLL

The journal of my trip in Taiwan and Japan are not finished yet but I would like to introduce this awesome place first. I had a  short orientation at Blachford Lake Lodge (BLL) last August.

去年的回台之旅，還有之後的日本自助行都還沒空寫，但是很想先插播這篇，因為我工作的地方(Blachford Lake Lodge - 布萊福德湖度假村）實在太棒了！一定要好好的來介紹一下！科！

BLL is a fly-in only resort. We took off from Yellowknife and had a 20 minutes flight to the Blachford Lake Lodge. The view from my plane-window was spectacular. I didn't know the land on Northwest Territory has covered by many lakes until I saw it.

要到布萊福德湖度假村，只能搭乘輕型飛機或是直升機，完全沒有道路可以讓車子開進去。我們從黃刀市搭了約 20 分鐘的水上飛機抵達那裡，沿途可以看盡西北地區的地表美景，我沒想到竟然都是大大小小的綠色湖泊，超美的！尤其是陽光照射在湖面上的光，真的是沒話說！原來西北地區的有這麼多的湖泊。

I am quite afraid of hight and not a big fan of flight but the float plane was pretty comfortable and loading on the water in a nice way.

老實說，我個人很怕高也很怕搭飛機，本以為這個水上飛機會很癲，沒想到意外的平順和舒服，而且駕駛員的技術很好，我完全沒有感覺到降落時的反作用力，很厲害。

Here is the main lodge of BLL, there is a hot tup just in front of this building. All the guests could enjoy the warm water under the Aurora. That is so amazing.

上岸後，第一眼看到的就是這裏的主樓，裡面有五間附有大玻璃窗的房間，客人可以直接躺在床上看極光，真的是超過癮的享受 ; 而在此建築物的正前方，有個按摩浴缸！想想看....泡在按摩浴缸裡看著極光在眼前舞動，那真的是說不出來的過癮！（哈！我之後有回來嘗試過了，超讚的！）

This is the view from main building. In late summer and fall, the North lights would have a beautiful reflection in the night on the lake. 

在主樓前面看出去的湖景也超美的，尤其是波光粼粼的湖景，不僅夕陽美！夏末秋初的極光倒影更是有另一番風味！（本人有親眼看到，真的是美的驚豔！）

Inside of the main lodge are quite cozy and has its northern character. I love everything is built by wood and it surrounds by nature.

恩！該來看看主樓裡面了，我好喜歡這個用當地雲杉建構的建築物，還有裡面的傢俱都是很有質感的木材，光看到就覺得很舒服了！再加上整個包圍在大自然裡，真的是超愛的！

Love all the homemade and delicious food here. 

不得不說一下，這裏的食物很新鮮又很美味，所有東西都是由主廚親手為客人特製的，我每次去都要胖個一兩公斤，真是太可怕了！

這是其中的一個小木屋，有沒有很可愛！很有特色耶！（我後來有入住這間喔！超舒服的！晚上起來看極光也很方便。）

I had tried the sauna, it was so great! Also, there is a deck right front the sauna, you could jump into the lake enjoying the difference of temperature. 

喔～不得不提一下這間桑拿房，也是一等一的享受，可惜我不會游泳...其他人享用桑拿之後，都直接從桑拿房外的甲板跳下去降溫，只有我沒下水...! 那個溫差應該很刺激，哈！

Everything could be made by wood and so creative. 

這裏幾乎都是就地取材，超環保的！而且還可以弄的很可愛！

這個白色圓錐形的原住民帳篷，很有特色！大家可以坐在裡面烤火、唱歌、跳舞，還有喝酒！另外，這一面的湖景也很美！

All of us went kayaking or canoeing toward to the Royal Island. That was a fun thing to do. 

後來，我們所有人就滑橡皮艇或是獨木舟前往另一個皇家小島，凱特王妃和威廉王子在 2011 年時，有造訪過布萊福德湖度假村，而且就是在這個皇家小島BBQ喔！

這裏的水都超清澈的，可以生飲！

Went back to Yellowknife on the same day, didn't overnight at BLL this time. However, I did went back there few times before winter came and saw some amazing Aurora. On the way back to Yellowknife, we saw the amazing sunset on the float plane.    

回程的飛機上，我們還看到了很美的夕陽美景，不得不說，這地方真的很美。這次的造訪並沒有過夜等極光，只是個短暫停留，大致瞭解一下環境，不過我之後倒是回來住了幾回，好好地感受了極光所帶給我的感動。

This picture was taken after we back to Yellowknife. The float plane and the unique wilderness resort were great experience to me.   I feel that I was so lucky!!    

   這是大家抵達黃刀市之後的大合照，很特別的體驗，沒想到才到公司報到個兩天，就有機會搭到水上飛機，一整個很開心！
