Castlegar in January

=JAN 6. 2013=

These pictures were taken in Castlegar B.C.
Last Sunday, I took a walk beside the Columbia River from my residence to Brilliant Bridge.
It was a fine day. I spent four hours to take a walk.
The distance from my dull room to Brilliant Bridge was 4 kilometers.
Therefore the total kilometers of I took was 8 kilometers.
That was not too far, if I had a car. Ha!

Everything was covered by snow.
In my country, the only place has snow where is on the top of mountains.
It is hardly to see snow in a city of my country.
Snowing is an interesting thing for me.
Everything was so stunning when they were covered by snow.

My adventure was from this spot, then I walked to the Brilliant Bridge alone.
This picture reminded me a new vocabulary called "circuitous."

The camera of mine was not good enough for closer these geese.

I just wore a hiking boots when I took a walk.
That was not very clever. See!
My feet  were  frozen with snow.

This is the Columbia River.

I felt these trees looked very funny. It looked just like someone put them on snow.

This is Brilliant Bridge.

There is a Brilliant Dam over the Brilliant Bridge.
Last Sunday, I didn't have enough time to walk in there.
Maybe I will get there to take some pictures recently.
